Meet the People Behind Real Time Kiosks
Rick
Scali, Division Director
Rick Scali holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Fullerton and has completed
course work towards a Masters Degree in Business Administration from St. Mary’s College, Moraga, California.
Rick is the former CEO of Disneyland Employees Federal Credit Union, San Diego Gas & Electric Employees
Credit Union, and Contra Costa Schools Credit Union. Rick wrote the original Business Plan for Financial
Service Centers Cooperative (FSCC Shared Branching) and served as its first Chief Operating Officer for
the first three years. In 1993 Rick came to Atlanta, Georgia to start Credit Union Service Corporation
(CUSC Shared Branching) and served as its first CEO. In 1998 Rick was asked to head the Real
Time KioskDivision of Real Time Data Management Services that was pioneering the first biometrics self service
financial kiosk.
Jody
Ellis, Chief Information Officer
Jody Ellis holds a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Computer Science from Bridgewater University and many
other awards in various sub fields in computer technology.
From 1988 through 1992 Jody was the Senior
Programming Instructor & Academic Liaison for Muir Technical College and Alaska Computer Institute of
Technology. From there Jody became the Senior Developer for the University of Alaska working on various
projects including the Aurora Preventative Maintenance and Inspection System and the university’s Polar
Ice Coring project. In 2000 Jody joined Real Time Data Management Services to
work on the Real Time Kiosk Project and was quickly promoted to the Chief Information Officer. Jody has
both global and intimate technical knowledge of the Real Time Kiosk System and
has written and is responsible for all of the data processor interfaces.
Fred
Guffin, Operations and Installation Manager
Fred Guffin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University and spent twelve years in the
Air Force as a Pilot, an Air Traffic Controller, and an Instrument Approach Design Specialist.
Following
the military Fred held several civilian pilot and IT positions and in 1988 joined Eastern Airlines as
a Boeing 757 Pilot and Flight Deck computer instructor. Following Eastern Airlines Fred has held various
IT management positions and in 2000 joined Real Time Data Management Services as Director of Operations
and Kiosk System Installation Manager.
Diana
Poulsen, Senior Kiosk Programmer
Diana Poulsen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Richmond and an AAS Degree in Computer
Programming from ECPI College of Technology.
Diana joined Real Time Data Management Services in 1999
as a programmer while concurrently attending college. Diana learned and progressed quickly and is now
the Senior Programmer and resident “expert” for the Real Time Kiosk System application software.
Billy
Glasby, Customer Service Manager
Billy Glasby holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Monterey Peninsula College,
Monterey, California. Billy has also graduated from Banking Management School, New York University and
Business of Banking Extension School, Cornell University.
From 1967 through 1995 Billy has held various
senior-level banking positions from Assistant Vice President to Senior Vice President of Operations Division.
In 1995 Billy was hired as the Operations Manager for the Credit Union Service Network in New Jersey,
the state's Shared Branch Network provider. In 1999 Billy was hired as the Call Center & Customer Service
Manager for Credit Union Service Centers in Atlanta, Georgia, and in 2001 Billy was recruited to head
up the Customer Service Department of Real Time Data Management Services, Real
Time Kiosk Division.
Donald
Taylor, Senior Field Engineer
Don Taylor is a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Product Specialist,
Internet Information Server Specialist and is proficient in Windows 95/98 and Windows 2000.
Don spent
four years in the Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician, and he has held various high-end mechanical
maintenance positions. In 1999 Don joined Real Time Data Management Services as one of the first Real
Time Kiosk Field Engineers. Don has grown in the position and is now the Senior Kiosk Field Engineer.
Don Taylor was instrumental in the current physical hardware design and performance standards for the
Real Time Kiosk System and is considered the resident “hardware expert” for the kiosk system.
